Agreed. Thank you for being Canes and caring for the program. That said, let the AD's AD, let the coaches coach.

We aren't a special program that needs a "Miami bro" to be successful. Some of the things I've heard that were said at the round table only make me shake my head.

The next AD or HC does not need to be someone who played here before. In fact, having a Miami connection should almost disqualify someone from the job at this point.

It's embarrassing at times, honestly, to see what some of our players have to say these days. The Melvin Bratton quote is a fine example of why we've been stuck in the spot we have been in the last 15+ years.

We simply need to structure ourselves like a big time program and hire qualified people. This whole idea that Miami is so unique we need to go and do something innovative like make Alonzo Highsmith be the AD of football is just silly and a waste of money.

I agree. Its painful listening to them tell old stories, while getting basic facts wrong. Then they criticize the current teams without realizing the game passed them by.
For sure. I am done with story time and how it was back in the day. I am done with documentaries, I am done with swag and brotherhood and accountability.

Get a coach that knows how to scheme and then get players that know how to execute that scheme and do their job. Everything else will fall into place.

Swag and brotherhood without extreme direction is useless.

You pair a competent HC with a competent AD, you won't here this nonsense. And, the alumni's will excel greatly in their role as ambassadors.

Even though Mario is 1 for me I don't care if he went to Iraq University it ain't about that to me. That thinking that they have to be Miami is stupid imo. So u can't flip burgers for burger king since u only worked at McDonald's?
