The reason why no one talks about Tate posting on IG or Twitter, is because he's never been accused of being lazy, immature, or an aspiring **** star. When you possess questionable traits/intangibles, everything you do is going to be under a microscope and heavily scrutinized. Also..in order to become a successful QB you have to be willing to make personal compromises/sacrifices in order to achieve team goals and be an effective leader. It's part of the job description..either you accept those responsibilities or you don't

CIS is fertile ground for criticism, and it's a free and very abundant commodity here. I for one try to avoid it but I accept those that indulge in it.Great point. So when a player is accused of being lazy or immature we should point out things he does that have absolutely nothing to do with being lazy or immature.
Maybe we should start mocking Perry for listening to rap music as well. Or maybe we should make fun of him for eating seafood. Or any other random thing that people on here like to harp on that has literally nothing to do with being lazy.
The hardest working mid 20 year olds I know, who are far from immature, in fact they make more in a year than your average porster makes in a decade, post pictures everyday on IG. They also post videos on snapchat daily.

If Perry were to prove to be successful, I seriously doubt it will be the result of him being lazy during the time he dedicates to football. If he becomes successful what he does after hours is irrelevant... but you can bet it will be food for gossip whores.
The Jon Richt thing was one of the more ridiculous things in a string of unbelievable things in the last 15+ years. In that time, we've seen a lot of weird stuff. But, Jon's elevation to one of the more important roles in the offense (tutors QBs AND eyes in booth on gameday?!) is up there. Think about just some of these things:
- We've had a S&C coach who couldn't physically be in the weight room, supposedly
- We had a DC one year who ran like 3 total coverages
- We had a HC/OC who ran like 12 plays
- We had another HC who hired his best friend who couldn't be fired no matter the lack of performance displayed
- We had that same HC read obscure motivation books and lay out a culture of sending players extremely strange quotes and readings
- Let's add that the coach also fattened up all his defensive players to play out of position
- We had a HC who wanted to prove he could call plays, so he hired his Thanksgiving dinner table participants so no one really challenged him
- We had another S&C coach who reportedly wouldn't show up sometimes
- We had a sub-30 y/o QB coach with no history of technical or administrative excellence making key decisions and offering guidance
- Not to mention admin/director issues throughout
That's just some.
Is it a ******* wonder we have insanely underperformed for over 15 years?

1.) How is the criticism not justified when he's the one who decided to post a porno on snapchat which is also a SOCIAL MEDIA platform like twitter & IG?? It is absolutely relevant. Can you name any successful QB that has ever done something like that?
2.) You can't look at his involvement with social media in a vacuum or in isolation. Its all related, and has to be placed into proper context. It's not that he was merely active on social media platforms. Its that in addition to being lazy, immature, and the QB of a team that achieved subpar results on the field. The optics of the situation are extremely unfavorable, and ends up sending a horrendous message. In life there are times where perception becomes the reality, and this is one of those instances.
3.) Finally your pt of wall st. 20 yr olds who make a lot of money, while also being active on social media platforms is completely irrelevant & moot. Again..the main pt is about optics & leadership, not work ethic.
Theres a reason why Dabo Swinney institutes a social media ban during the season for his players. Because he realizes very clearly what kind of distraction it can become for his football team
