The Cristobal stuff is most likely just speculation because he has coaching experience and has ties to the U. Doubt he's a legitimate candidate now, but possibly HC in waiting if Butch is hired. Hopefully the banner thing about him is not serious because that would obviously add more negative publicity to the program and ammunition for people like Finnebaum and all the other people that feel Miami is a dumpster fire. Like my ex gf, some Miami fans just be doing too much. Golden is gone mane...Be Happy! Any mf we replace him with is an upgrade and can do wonders with this team. If Cristobal come and be like Calipari of football and load the team with first rounders and leave all the coaching to his assistants, I am perfectly fine with that....sit back and chill.
 
If I had a chance, I'd ask anyone in a position of power, who supports Barrio, a single simple question: How does a guy, whose only strength as a HC is allegedly his recruiting ability, go 3-9 in his 5th year in the lousy Sun Belt Conference at a school located in the most fertile recruiting area in the country?

Shouldn't a guy, who is supposed to be a great recruiter, field a BETTER team over time, not a WORSE one? Doesn't 3-9 in year 5 in a horrible conference de-bunk the myth of Cristobal being a great recruiter? By year 5 at a school located in South Florida, he should have owned the Sun Belt if he was even a good recruiter.

I'm pretty positive any information suggesting that they're on the "verge" of picking up Mario is full of ****.

Either way, say no to Mario.
 
the fact that the fans have to tell the admin how not to destroy the program speaks for itself. this program is destined for failure unless the guys in charge are completely removed from power.

If they wait till the end of the season to hire somebody it will be gross incompetence. They need to get the guys name out in the recruiting circuit IMO. No Cristobal, nowhere
 
This is actually a very false statement. He has a HC offer, I wish he would come as coach in waiting title though.
 
Btw, he is pretty certain the job is his to lose. We will see what happens but he is **** sure it is all his, especially since he is being endorsed by jj.
