Time to make changes to defensive coaching staff

Still alot of questionable calls on defense. Pass rushers playing in coverage. Too much man coverage. There were open receivers that Bethunes qbs just missed.

Garvin is doing absolutely nothing, he’s been worse than patchan in 3 straight games and is now 9 games without a sack

Get used to it man. Baker is not going to let mobile QB’s run. That game plan will be great for the Virginia game.

Secondary is young, going to take some more licks before they start to ball out.
 
Yes, now is the time. Fire your defensive staff 3 games in. I mean, why the heck not? Also, replace the OL coach too, right? I'm sure there's nothing else to know about our assitant coaches that the remainder of the season won't reveal...:rolleyes:

Him and Patchan have been doing nothing but bull rushing. And all those ridiculous stunts we're doing arent helping either. We stunted ourselves out of position all night vs UNC

this man did what richt did on offense and golden did on defense. he fired so many guys we turned a blind eye but he has his boys on defense. he needs to cant the staff and hire a leavit or schiano type.

I don’t disagree with this but wasn’t Manny’s system working the last 3 years? What the **** changed where all of these veteran guys are all of a sudden clueless on defense?

It was Manny's system last 3 years. This is Baker's system now. It's not the same.

I don’t pretend to know a thing about the technical defensive stuff but didn’t Manny hire a guy that was basically his clone? Why would Manny allow Baker to change things up so much?

These guys have no idea what they’re talking about. It’s been three games, one of them against a JV team that barely broke a hundred yards offense.

You can see things have changed though. Garvin, Patchan, Hill standing at the end of the line kind of does remind me of what NoD used to do. Not saying that’s where things are heading but it does look pretty similar to me.

Yes because football is totally linear from one week to another with different circumstances and every player plays the same every week and you’re an idiot
