Oh for crying out loud enough already!!! This is getting to levels beyond ridiculous. This is downright bizarre! Take the pledge? What pledge? Jarren Williams Has won the quarterback competition and earned the right to start. He's our guy. What else needs to be said? Yes his first start will be a tough test going up against arch rival Florida. But what if he throws 3 picks guysum? Will you still be nice if JW stinks up the joint guysum? Uh take this pledge and sign this document guysum! WTF??????

We are Miami Hurricanes fans here. Most of us are long time fans who are extremely knowledgeable and even more passionate. JW is our QB which means that Miami Hurricane fans are completely behind him. If JW throws 3 picks and is a complete disaster then fans will be extremely disappointed and that is normal. Will there be drunken temper tantrums? Of course but that is par for the course and those knee jerk reactions are common and to be expected. Sure there will be some doubters if Jarren implodes but as Cane fans we will also be pulling and rooting for him as he continues to grow and improve.

This whole notion that there are these factions that are secretly hoping for Jarren's demise and are licking their chops in anticipation of JW having a terrible performance just so they can say I told you so is complete fantasy! It is a delusional paranoid fantasy and it needs to stop.

Sorry for the long rant but I just couldn't take it anymore.

And secondly, I took the pledge when I was 5 years old & first started watching football, I've been a Canes fan my entire life & no amount of losses, bad corches, or bad QB's will EVER change that.

I'll support this beloved U until they put me in the fckin casket & even when I'm dead & gone my got **** spirit will still be throwing up The U 🙌🏾!

It depends on the context of the 3 picks. If he also throws 4 TDs and the defense holds the turds to under 10 points, it won't matter
 
I think he is our best option. However, if he goes out there and looks like Kirby Freeman versus NCST, I might have second thoughts. I just want to see some light at the end of the tunnel in regards to QB play. Just show me something, anything, that can be worked with. I fully expect a work in progress, and I am willing to take some lumps with him. Just don't completely suck. Is that too much to ask from a starting QB?

I fly from California twice a year to see the Canes - most on this board ***** about driving an HOUR to see Miami play

And before you claim victory on your commitment to the Canes vs Me
- First Game Kary Baker was our QB
- I was in the Bowl for every game during "the streak" (you probably need to google what that means)
- And more importantly - saw every home game during probation

If he even gets the chance to throw a third it will let me know what to expect from Diaz and Enos the next few years which is the same **** show of coaching we had last 15 years

I stood on the sidelines all through probation....200+ UM games....2 NCs...Season ticket holder 25 out of last 35yrs....
 
I don't want to see that happen, but the chernobyl meltdown on the board that will result...

Kinda makes me want to peek at least...

BEAT THE GATORS is job one.
