It's not dead. A rebuild takes time. Nobody expected TVD to totally meltdown. We have improved in so many areas compared to last year. I am waiting until after year three to pass judgement. Seriously, look at the big picture. There has been a major culture change and these kids have not given up all year. Be patient.

The game was never close after Ole Miss' first possession. Defense didn't even attempt to put up a fight. Terrible ******* effort vs UGA.
 
Also Kiffin ran the ball 45 times in a game that they were down 35. If Mario did that the CIS gurus would lose their ****. Unequal weights and measures.

Outliers brother. There are always outliers. But we know that rebuilds typically take a few seasons. A new coach needs to establish his culture, he needs his players, and he needs to turn over the roster. It takes time. Now, does it take longer than it used to? **** no. But it does take two seasons IMO. If we are 8-4 and playing this type of **** next year, I'm off Mario's ****.

Biggest red flag with Kiffin is actually QB recruiting.

They struggle throwing the ball, and have for a few years now.

But that’s life under Mario, and Kiffin’s offense can at least run the ball successfully and put up points against most teams.

I get it. But is it fair to compare MIami to these programs? Culture and player acquisition is what Mario is what Mario is trying to improve.Those areas were a hot mess for awhile now. I believe he is doing that. The school and boosters are pumping money into the program. I am frustrated too but we have to allow MC to fix this program the right way so that it is sustainable for years to come.

tbh if that happened to us vs an elite team they would say fire him as well. Then we get no elite defenders cause who tf wants to play constant on D? It’s why he won’t ever have an elite D and will always lose to those types of teams. I would not coach here **** nah. That dude should stay put or make the nfl jump to balance out his weakness. If he’s in the right situation in the nfl he could have good success. Anyone with a brain knew they would get bodied they will always get bodied by top heavy nfl caliber talents on their lines.

serious question so excuse my ignorance. No idea what the rules are for buyouts but since Manny immediately got another job, they are on the hook for whatever buyout?

I’m not pushing Lane either, but he’s grown as a coach and is outpacing Mario in terms of modern day coaching. We were told we needed Mario because he was a program builder - Lane has built up Ole Miss coming off worse records faster than Mario is dismantling Miami…

Mario could be an answer here - if he adapts
