Ok by all accounts he is ready to roll. He can single handedly be a difference maker. I think other than Ahmmon Richards he is considered a true true elite player for this program to come along in recent times.
We will call it the unleashing of Mr. Lingard.

Does he still have his speed after knee surgery? I think we're all assuming.

He posted something on instagram or twitter last week of him sprinting from his freshman year saying man I miss that speed. Not that he is saying he lost it but lets see first

No knock to OP but If you ever had knee surgeries and played, coach football at the highest level.... then you will know that its not that simple. Even if the doc's cleared him to play. You have to be eased back into the roll gracefully with limited carries . Thank God we have 2 rb's to carry the load.

He will get his time everyone just be patience my brothers.
(Remember Phenom - Marcus Lattimore??? ) Smdh 👏 WE DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN. NOT ON OUR CARE AND WATCH!

In his interview on media day he said he was a bit guarded when he made his cuts but that was somewhat due to his brace. When asked about speed he said his speed had not changed at all. He also said he thought he would be ready in week two. Since then I have not heard a word and there was a recent reference made in a short article that we might be seeing him now.
In my opinion we can't afford another loss this early in the season so we have to have him make a go of it.

You are a doctor? I guess we all are on here.

We've already got two incredible backs in front of him on the depth chart. No need to rush things. Ease him into it.

Aside from Marcus Lattimore being overrated he was ran into the ground at USCe. Completely different situation than Lorenzo Lingard...UNC is soft, if he can play against Bethune he can go against them.

Iffy... The emphasis of my statement was more so in working him in a slow pace whether the teams are soft or not... that does not mean anything. His knees are fragile . He barley had any full contact in practice and people want him play right away and get carries. lol (I can't make this ish up) but thanks for posting and replying brother.

Regardless,

Go Canes! lol
