Anyone from South Florida with a Miami offer that ended up choosing between Texas and Auburn for the final two can take a long walk off a short pier.

This is the most ridiculous logic out there. I'm not saying we should take this kid, but if someone like Ridley at Bama decided he wanted to transfer to Miami would we turn him down because he didn't originally sign with us. This team needs a major infusion of talent, if the kid can play take him.

I think what most posters are getting at is Irvin ducked us for Auburn and Texas. Two programs just as worst as ours and in Auburn's case, coaches just as worst as ours at the time. It would be different it he had choose to go to a program that was already on the up. Ridley went to Bama. You can't really fault a kid for going to Bama.
