Guidry took the Tulane job and left for us.Issue with Blackwelll is that he just took the USCe job
Dennis Smith:
Prior to his time running the Hurricanes recruiting department, Smith served as the running back coach and special teams coordinator under Lance Guidry, who is now Miami’s defensive coordinator, for three seasons.
Smith is one of the best recruiters on the Hurricanes staff and has worked with the position group before at the FCS level. Putting Smith in a position where he could go out on the road and recruit as an on-field assistant could be very valuable as Miami looks to stack more elite recruiting classes.
That’s what I heardIt’s why him and Ethridge left Auburn.
I mean, idk how a former QB could coach RBs but maybe I'm dumb
I believe crib amongst others said he's borderline bipolar/wasn't a consistent recruiterim still wondering why the K smith stuff fell apart here?
Sounds like our kinda guyHow you gonna tamper w our guys then turn around and want a coaching position. GTF outta here
Still goin to learn from Malzhan and maybe make it back some other other day.Title, yes but he's not going to call plays. Pay bump? I'm not sure about that.
He doesn't....edge posts a million strip club videos every other night on IG. I dont think he really wants to go into coaching compared to his other business ventures
Check back in springCool. Who we replacing him with?
He got retained by DeBoer. Doesn’t mean he’s off limits but hard to imagine he’d leave Bama for Miami. Probably not worth overspending either.Get that Bama RB coach
Canes are allowed to dream too!Penn State RB coach and CIS legend, Ja'Juan Seider.
Uncle Luke has a better chance at the RB job than some of names the boards thrown out so far
Mario taking a page out of Al Goldens book regarding hiringI'd be mildly surprised if it isn't Dennis Smith.
Nah he did a Good job here so I knew for him to leave it had to be for a promotion. He won’t kall plays there but he will get a major raise in pay (for coaching) & being labeled as OC. Good get 4 dem bc he can recruit tooThat's strange somehow, he's certainly not going to call plays there. Is it really a promotion?
Could be a "mutual part of ways" in Mario's style but he was really that bad? I didn't think so.
