Would be the most ACC thing ever.

This thread is a train wreck. If three teams are tied at 8-0, it will come down to record vs #4, record vs #5, etc. That's where someone is going to get knocked out simply because they didn't play a team.

Example:

1. Miami 8-0
2. Clemson 8-0
3. SMU 8-0
4. Virgnia Tech 6-2

Miami and Clemson would go to Charlotte because we would both be 1-0 against Virginia Tech while SMU would be 0-0 against Virginia Tech.

On the other hand, we would get left out if Pitt finishes #4. So we want VT to win out.

They signed a memorandum of understanding that any school located in the Carolinas now get an auto-bid into the conference championship if they go above .500.

100%, we have a team in our conference that’s in Atlanta, Georgia. So there is no reason we can’t share that stadium with the SEC for our championship games too. Game in that bum *** stadium in cold Charlotte is the stupidest thing in the world.
