Got their *** beat so bad they’re turning on Saban
We know two families who had kids here in south Florida go to Bama and their main reason was the scene for football looked amazing lol **** mattersNuts. I happened to walk Bama’s campus pre-Saban many times. Hard to describe the development during the Saban era. Dude produced > $1b value for that school.
I was at school there from 13-17, and grew up going a lot. It’s insane how much it changed once he got there, and even in the few years since I left when I go back now.Nuts. He used to be a part of a Facebook group I was a part of called 365 sports if I'm not mistaken. The Gump jersey has me dying.
Self inflicted.. think back to how they wanted us to get the death penalty for some Benihana dinners and some lap dances in 2012-13… that’s absolutely peanuts compared to what’s going on now.We will never see another run like Saban had at Alabama. Conference realignment, NIL, the transfer portal, and now add in revenue sharing. Player acquisition and retention has changed. Head coaches and programs no longer hold all the power.
Would not surprise me one bit if coaches and programs lobbied Congress to try and restore some of the power they’ve lost.
