Everyone wants to wear that turnover chain, our defense has been eating lately.
 
Well Diaz said it, we needed to take the next step as a defense from solid to start taking it away. Next step is to start scoring. With how many takeaways we had we should have a few TDs

Crazy. 2 years ago you had to hope and pray for a defensive turnover now it like shocking if we get less then 2 takeaways a game.
 
It's as simple as the difference between sitting and waiting for things to happen and getting off your backside and making things happen.
 
need the turnover chain if we're going to beat ND

we are +11 in turnovers
ND is +12 (with one more game)

we average better per game but they are just as sound in this, need to limit turnovers and get run stops on first and second downs and let wimbush try to beat us on third and longs
 
The only defensive metric where ND has an edge is in rush yards allowed. That is heavily offset by being among the worst in all college football in passing yards allowed. Our D is fairly balanced, outstanding against pass, decent against run. They are good against run, and awful against pass. Rosier should have lots of opportunities to find open receivers.
