Three teams looked the part to open the season in no particular order.

(1) Miami
(2) OSU
(3) LSU

Head and shoulders above everyone else right now. Oregon looked suspect (even accounting for a solid G6 team like Boise), and Michigan will be lucky to get bowl eligible.

LSU defense is pretty good. I dont know about their offense. Clemson is pretty terrible. Stanford may be better than Clemson
 
Leavitt was 16/28 and took off running on many passing plays. He has work to put in to be a championship contender. Clemson doesn’t have the talent and it was still 16 for 28.

This week means so little with so many horrible games. Syracuse looked amazing v New Hampshire.

All I learned today is that Oregon is overrated and so is Mich.

All that said, 45 to 6 was right where we wanted to be v Stanford with them at home in their second game.

LSU’s win vs Clemson tells us nothing about LSU. Clemson is bad. Really bad. The only wins right now on their schedule appears to be Georgia Southern, Charleston Southern, and FSU. 4-8 or 5-7 looks realistic. They have zero talent on offense except for Wesco, and he has dropped a couple of balls tonight. Their QBs and RBs are pathetic. They’ve given up 300 yards on the ground, and LSU’s backup QB just led another TD drive.

Oregon has always been overrated. Not overrated in the sense they r a bad team, they just aren’t elite. There’s a few teams that I think can handle them fine.

Let's revisit your statement after G4.
 
Leavitt ran for 139 yards vs Clemson. He won't be doing that against real defenses.

Some of the stats from yesterday are padded. Mensah and Toney and most of the starters were out for the entire 4th Q. didn't see that happen across the board. LSU did replace Leavitt in 4th the 4th Q and the backup scored.

Pitt left the starters in for the entire game. Syracuse left Angeli and the starters in for the first half of the 4th quarter, despite being ahead by 60+ points.
 
Miami didn’t look like a CFP team. I not saying they can’t end there but the middle of the OL has issues which experience will help resolve. We had one sack and gave up a good number of passes. Blount and Oj help with that but that’s how close we are from 2024. We have to win the acc or we don’t get in.
