"Miami offered Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul's Episcopal three-star offensive tackle Brady Ward (6-5/309) on Sunday, but that offer didn't come from offensive line Butch Barry but from someone. Ward admitted at check-in for the All-America Bowl that the situation is odd, but confirmed that the plan is to visit. Arizona State and Texas A&M are also involved."

Butch Barry is gone, it’s not a surprise at all that someone else is working the recruit

I also saw on the Ivins report that two top Portal offensive linemen and Boargales the kicker have so far not set up visits here.

There is a thing called urgency like for positions in O-line. They have no OC. The offensive line coach did not show a very good product last year. Any decent O-line recruits is going to think about his future. The longer they wait down there the more the O-line recruits will bond with other coaches/teams.
