THREE SCENARIOS (AND ODDS) OF HOW OUR SEASON WILL END

Al Golden is not a championship winning coach. He doesn't have that it factor that Saban, miles, jimbo, stoops, sumlin or briles. He just doesn't have it. I don't see it. Could he win the coastal? Yes. Acc championship? Very unlikely but yes. National Championship not In a million years. He doesn't have the pedigree.

Nick Saban was an also-ran at MSU with a 34-24-1 record.

He went 6-5(1), 6-6, 7-5 and 6-6 in his first four years. He didn't get a 9 win season until his fifth year.

Al is 2 years ahead of that pace.

You mean he had to learn as he went along???

You know better than to bring factual information to this site!

I would seriously rather not make the acc title game if we had to play fsu again and lose to them twice in one year.

Whaaaaat? Too big a gap between first and second scenario. There is a real chance that we play in the ACC Title Game after losing to FSU. Then losing again and going to the CFA Bowl in Atl.

UM> MSU when it comes to talent.

Ask yourself what saban would have done with better talent. We all know South east players fit his system

I'm still not fully understanding why everyone thinks Butch can just come In here and win it all. It took him time to build the program when he was here. His time at North Carolina isn't that impressive. I'd love to have him back but relax with win it all in 2017 talk solely because of butch.

Didn't El Foldo "learn" at Temple? This is his 8th or 9th year as a HC isn't it? We shouldn't be paying him $2.5M to learn at this point.

Learn to view things in context, and you'll be much better off in life. How much winning did the UNC program do before he got there? By way of analogy, if Mark Poops wins 8 games at Kentucky, everyone will have the anointing oils out.

Not for nothing but I am almost certain Golden in Miami has more talent than Saban did at MSU those 4 years. Nice spin job. With your logic we should have kept Randy Shannon.

Please don't tell me about being better off in life. Learn to accept that this is 2014 not 2000. Those kids aren't walking out onto the ob field with that old school hurricane swag and legacy. This program has fell apart over the years and it's gonna take time to build it back. We stopped winning big time games a long time ago buddy. I still think butch could make some noise here again but It takes time. Realize practically every team that was relevant from 1995-2001 are in the same Boat..Tennessee, Nebraska, Florida, Texas, Michigan are the trying to get back to the top and they didn't have a 3 year cloud and investigation.

The odds of his first scenario are greater than you'll ever know.

No kidding. Beating Florida State twice is at least 60/1, considering what the money lines will be on those two games. That doesn't even factor all the other variables to get there. For example, we're barely above 50/50 to win this week, although I think the actual likelihood is greater than expressed by the game odds.

Odds are GREAT we drop 2 games to GT, UNC, Pitt and UVA, guaranteed we lose at leadt one. Free Shoes and VT are stone cold lock blowouts.

6-6, 7-5 on the upside. 5-7 very real

We beat Arky St and Duke, and people are talking about odds of winning an NC.

How many screen names does Bomb post under????
