The ACC announced Wednesday the full lineup of players and coaches attending the 2026 ACC Media Days in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The event is set for a three-day event July 15-17 at the Hilton Hotel in Uptown Charlotte. Miami will talk on day one on July 15th.

For Miami, head coach Mario Cristobal is set to bring three players to represent the Hurricanes: running back Mark Fletcher, quarterback Darian Mensah, and linebacker Mohamed Toure.

I don’t know- I just find it odd that a kid who is on his third school- hasn’t played a single down yet here- is there. Before the crazies get all worked up- I fully understand he is the starting QB at Miami. Nothing against him-

Most people see QB = team leader. Teams send their team leaders to these events. If they’re not a QB that is usually telling the team doesn’t have a great QB or they have an extremely high level talent in place of a talented QB.

I don’t see how you don’t see QB = leader even if it’s their first year. Ward led, then Beck, and now Mensah.

Those traits are a plus, the Kid is QB1, for Christ sakes, probable the most sought after portal QB. A huge get for us and a big attraction at ACC Week, That said Toney should have been included also.

Malachi will be here at least one more year. They don’t send players twice. Guaranteed Toney will be one of the three next year. Plus, you rarely (if ever) see a sophomore attending one of these. It’s mostly all upperclassmen.

Since you’re so concerned, you’ll be at peace knowing that Mali is completely ok and supportive of Mensah representing the team in Charlotte. Bud, we’re all Canes here and have one goal, support the program, and when necessary disagree with it also. But, to get bent out of shape on something so benign as ACC week speakers,.. well,.. appreciate your passion, but save some of it for the season bc it gets rancid on here at times.Go Canes
