Thoughts on what happens when colleges disappear in next 5 years?

Trade schools shade off 2-3 years of college and to dive right in immediately , as you approach finishing you get certified or licensed and get to working.

Technical fields are desperate for qualified people, electrical, plumbing and HVAC .

You can seriously make $50-60K in first years and it escalates tremendously.

Question:

Ask anybody if AC and plumbing is important then they’ll ask you do you know anyone .

These techs are constantly in neighborhoods at stop lights always in need constantly never enough of them .

Some can’t take any more customers and just handle good paying customers 24-7 .

It is popular to say that college isn't for everyone, but neither is trade school. It takes talent and ability to perform a trade. Not to mention a tremendous work ethic, it isn't easy doing long hours day in and day out, throw in the work conditons and working in all types of weather environments....

I worked with a plumber for a summer gig one time...we were doing a basement sewer back up in a small apartment complex...I walked down the steps and immediately vomited (mutilple times) from the smell...the plumber walked down behind me and exclaimed "It smells like money down here"...

All this to say everyone is different...colleges fits some people, trades fit others, some need something else entirely....
