Still not sold on Baker.. i think Manny stepping in helped in the short term, but if this is to be a championship team... we have to have a DC that commands respect and gets it done...
Manny has to be the CEO and be able to trust the others to get things... Baker hasn't done that. Same with STs.

Wow.

We outgained UL by 100 yards after 3 quarters.
We outgained FSU by 150 yards.
Pitt 4th qtr, they outgained us by 9 yards.

That's +241 in an 8 quarter span.
There's my take on those stats.

We're not perfect.
You can skew stats any way you want, but in the end it's the W, or the L that counts.

Every time I hear the "we outgained you" cry, my eye twitch comes back as I relive the '86 Penn State Natty game.
Look it up.

Why doesn’t the 4th quarter count against Pitt? It’s not like we brought in the reserves.

we do have two blocks this year from his unit. nothing will improve the kicking situation outside of signing a free agent
 
The only thing I would like to see is an ace recruiter. Banda and Patke have not gotten it done on the trail.

How many running into the kicker/punter penalties do we have? Pretty sure we had a too many men on the field penalty too. Also the fake punt fiasco followed up by us not even attempting to block FG's the next 4-5 tries. ***** embarrassing.
