Thoughts on Richt using only 8 Bowl Practices?

Some of you hate slurpers are going to ride with this debunked bull **** theory, no matter how many times it gets disproved. So desperate to trash CMR, the program and the team in general that the truth about any subject becomes irrelevant, only your daily hate regurge...

Just about every team, if not all of them, does not practice while players are in finals. We are no different. It was mathematically impossible to practice 15 times.

STOP LYING,

There are enough real things to be concerned about without your everyday hyperbolic, exhaustingly repetitive, unoriginal regurge on here daily.
That last sentence really defined Richt’s O. Repetitive and unoriginal. We all take on traits of our head coach, right?

It is almost like um doesn't Carew if thy win or lose.
You talkin' to me?

Clemson final exams December 10-14, started the 1

Maybe we are. But it doesn’t make the 15 practice nonsense any less of a gigantic pile of bull ****. See how I differentiate truth from a lie there?

How many practices will Wisconsin be using?

Do to our shi*tty bowl game, the practices would fall right in the middle of recruiting season. You can’t practice & be in everyone’s living room at the same time. Plus, finals were last week, and oh yeah, maybe he wanted the players to see their families because they will be gone for the holidays. What an a*sshole this coach is. /facepalm/

The only positive I can take out of being bowl eligible this season is the additional practice time. IMO it should be treated like an abridged spring camp and you get the younger guys as many reps as you can. I'm sure that's not happening but that's my wish.

And what day do they play compared to us?

Oh.
2 days after us. 15 allotted practices. Same as everyone.

Oh.

There is absolutely no limit to the number of practices teams can use prior to bowl games. Saban had his team doing 2 a days last week. Look Saban up. He generally uses 12-14 practices before bowl games. We are using 8. He understands the value of preparation. We are choosing to have 8 practices according to what has been reported.

There's no limit on Bowl practices.
Jumping in and out of different articles, it looks like the average # for teams is about 10-12, depending on when the bowl game is.

Is 8 enough?
We should stuff in as many practices as possible.

Babers was on ESPN this morning talking about his practice schedule and the work he puts in for the younger guys that would normally be done in the spring.

The most disappointing part of Richt's comment is that he doesn't work on "spring stuff".

Richt specifically said he is not.

We are in a recruiting dead period until Jan 10, 2019. This means that for recruiting purposes we are not hindered by being in a bowl game. Nobody is doing any in-home visits.

ridiculous, do a game 1 vs 2's, see who wins, see who really are your gamers and where you're making wrong personnel decisions

Teams are only allowed 20 hours/week, and 4 hours/day for football activities (kinda like the regular season), between the end of the season and their bowl. This includes film study and walkthroughs. There is no "15 practice rule", that is just a phrase some people use.

Richt’s scheme os so easy to teach and learn, there’s no reason to practoce so much.
From my seats it looked like he only needed to game-plan the offense for 2nd & 9, 3rd & 12, and oh sh*t, we shanked another punt...
pretty simple...
