I’m just gonna make some bullet points.
1. SJ is not going to be starting soon
2. Defense played better than the numbers showed
3. Missed tackles have to be fixed, and will be
4. When our offense is clicking, nobody can stop us
5. When Dawson pulls back, he pulls back way too much
6. Barkate and Moore need to step up, can’t be the Mali show
7. Thornton is not a cover guy, stop pretending he is
8. Toure and Smith never need to play on 3rd and long ever again
9. Lucas and Jaboree can’t come back soon enough, D. Brown is getting roasted
10. Time for Lyle to prove he’s not just a greentree all-American when he finally comes back
Lastly, I have to say, the Wake Forest student section are the whiniest, alumni daddy’s old money trust fund babies I’ve ever seen. They threw food and beer cans at us multiple times, nothing was done about it, finally a cop shows up and tossed a couple of them out but it should have been dozens more. It was enjoyable watching most of them hit the exits when the score was 31-7. And let me tell you, we let those punks have it on the way out too. They got to eat their crow, although we should have made them eat a lot more based on the final score. Tailgating experience was awesome, we Canes truly are one big family and even though I drove 5 hours from KY by myself (and drove back after the game that night), I felt welcomed by everyone, shoutout to the Canes United crew, their hospitality was amazing. Can’t wait to see all you guys again. All in all, we are 1-0 this week.
