thoughts on lyle and jojo

the principal reason he and fletch and brown had success in the second half (until the final two possessions) is because they stopped loading the box.
Good point. Think Dawson did a nice job spreading them out formation wise too, making White pick his poison.

On that run we had Bauman/Toney/Marion bunched up split out pretty wide (for us) on the short side with CJ on the opposite hash. They committed numbers to stop the screen (not a bad idea after how Toney had killed them), so we ran to the right, and Lyle was able to manipulate the unblocked corner and got a nice gain. Could have gone for a lot more if Coop/Brockermeyer had been able to get to the second level and block the LBer.

regarding Lyle, some of you will earn a thread bump. careful what ya say.

regarding Jojo, he was called out by coach and needs to work harder in practiSe. The good news is if he responds he will earn opportunities. Coaches absolutely love seeing a player respond, aka I'm a great coach. Let's get it Jojo.

well, according to White he had Dawson's number all night and made all the right adjustments... unfortunately his players are just doo doo:****:.

That game was over lol, I was happy to see Lyle get those carries. He will be very important down this ACC stretch and it was smart to get him some touches in that game.
I was happy to see Lyle get earlier carries. Not saying Lyle shouldn’t be getting carries, just situationally in the game when you’re clearly just trying to eat clock and running into stacked boxes, that’s Fletcher and Brown time.
