Thought this article might be fitting...

How about a failed WR coach from a failed regime with no experience?
We've been down this road 3 times and it doesn't work and for the love of God please stop referring to Dabo. He's a one in a million example that was given **** near a decade to win any kind of championship. He also succeded because his school decided to pay top dollar for both coordinators. First time an OC or DC was paid a million

You would’ve fired him before he was hired though, and definitely would have fired him after year 2 or 3.

Not all success stories show a consistent upward trajectory.

OP,

Two questions:

1. Are you aware of what Saban accomplished before Alabama?

2. Are you implying that since Saban lost to ULM and then went on to accomplish _________ that Manny will 100% have the same results at Miami?

1. Yes. All the more reason losing to ULM was unacceptable and embarrassing. He would be the first to say that was pathetic.

2. No. There are no guarantees. Saban himself very well could be a bust at Miami.

Duke, Texas beat them to that by several years but your point is damm sure valid

If we're going to suck, then why not hire Butch? At least we can settle one long term argument and its not like we have anything to lose.

1. Nick Saban is one of the FEW coaches who have earned the benefit of the doubt. What he accomplished before Bama was incredible. Clearly you don't know much about his tenure at LSU and his predecessor. Or his tenure at MSU. Nick Saban has earned the benefit of the doubt.

2. The article you posted is irrelevant. There is no correlation between Diaz and Saban.

"There are no guarantees"

"Leach and Mullen would've NEVER worked out here."

Glad the senile boomer OP could wander off from his family long enough to get lost in the public library and post a bunch of stupid shlt before he's found by local police roaming the streets in an ***-less hospital gown.

The article wasn’t drawing a correlation between Saban and Diaz. It was pointing out that coaching and talent don’t mean **** if you don’t have the right attitude and culture. If you think you can get by on talent alone, you’re going to lose. If anything describes the average Miami player over the last 15 years better than that, I’d be shocked.

Same people c complaining now wanted to run Jimmy out of town in 84.flew the fire butch banners in 98&99.then cried like babies when he left.fact is everyone here knows the state of this program and it's not in good or bad shape.if Manny were fired tomorrow and the best available hc and assistants were hired it would still take them2-3 years to get us back to playing Miami football 🏈.Problem with some here can't accept the facts and don't have a clue what it takes to build the foundation for sustaining a winning program nor the time it takes.

Great post!

LOL...you are ******* delusional. This program is in shambles and has been for over a decade. Not a coach in the world was going to fix this **** show overnight. Maybe Manny won’t be able to do it either. There’s certainly a lot to be concerned about. I don’t like a lot of what I’m seeing, but 4 games isn’t a large enough sample size.
Just keep toeing the company line and keep making excuses for every staff that fails here. Our lack of discipline with our penalties, inability to tackle and cover on STs has nothing to do with utter ineptness of the coaching staff?

Bama was favored to win that game against ULM by 30 points.
And it was a complete fvck up on Bama’s end. That doesn’t mean that sitting here and all of a sudden comparing that to this makes any sense whatsoever. You have to dive deep into the situation, and when you break down what we have in front of us, anyone with a brain knows it’s not pretty. One thing Richt did leave us was a stacked cupboard with the 17 and 18 classes, especially in the context of our schedule in the Coastal. Manny was already the DC. You just can’t compare this to Saban. Maybe in the end you will be right, but pretty much every indicator suggests that you are painfully wrong. Think about it, we aren’t getting better, we are getting worse based of Central Michigan.

Never said it didn’t, but we’re only 4 games in. I’m not going to fire a staff based on 4 games. If we all did that, we’d probably only have 3 NCs instead of 5.

Too much bullshiat on this board. We have played like shiat this year. We have 8 regular season games left. Let’s see whether or not we adjust successfully.

We are not stacked, not even close. Especially not in the trenches, and especially considering most of these guys come out of the toxic SF sports culture.

BS, the sunshine pumpers were beating their chests about the new Miami over the summer and spring. They just don’t have an ounce of critical thinking in their blood.
