Thomas Davis = Javon Nanton

He also had an insane wingspan that allowed him to play a lot bigger than he was.

You can get away with being short if you have the arms of an NBA power forward.

Wingspan matters, but there are many NFL sack artists in the NFL with 32 inch arms.

And I'm no biologist (lol), but Thomas Davis looks like he has 32 inch arms or longer.

Nanton had size though; I agree w/ TD’s 1st step, & that’ll be his equalizer, but my guy needs another 15-20lbs to hold up, imo.

I think he’ll be fine on passing downs, but we probably can’t play him on 1st and 2nd.

He is still a FRESHMAN though.

Hopefully he develops physically better than Flagg has. I was hoping he could get a lot stronger by now, his third year, but that hasn’t been the case.

Should be a linebacker here. Balled out his senior year in HS there!! Has the speed and instincts for it

I agree. But still let him rush the edge. He and Brooks have a lot of tape moving back and forth. I thought we should have used them like that here.

If he’s good he’ll play and make plays no matter his size
Brian burns has almost 10 sacks playing at 220 as a freshman
I’m tired of making excuses for players
It’s time for them to just produce or portal out
