Didn’t know he was on track team here. Hope he plays football sometime here. Took some photos with him and James cook at Bob Hayes track and field event in Jacksonville.

I talked to his brother, Artie, at the track state finals last year, in which he said that the plan was for Thomas to only focus on track during his freshman year at UM, but then add football to his plate going into his sophmore year. He mentioned that all of the coaches were in agreement with this plan.

I am not sure as to whether or not things has changed since then.

Not sure, but considering that he already has an athletic scholarship, it would not hurt to have his speed on special teams, if nothing else.

As a track scholarship athlete, if he plays a single down of football, his scholarship coverts to a football scholarship.

I am still hopeful the other track guy Brandon Taylor comes out for football.
His HS video was impressive.

There's a difference between football and track when it comes to scholarships
