Ok this thread relies on the assumption that since both Sheriffs and Rosier are getting the most throwing attempts and performing the best, either one of them will be the starter this year. Again, we don't know that but let's pretend that happens.
So my question is, who should be our back-up for this year? It appears that Rosier/Sheriffs are a step ahead of Perry. BUT wouldn't it be most useful for the future if Perry (3rd string) would be getting mop-up duty thus allowing him to gain valuable experience?
It's tough to say since either Rosier or Sheriffs sound like they are deserving of more snaps, but I personally think it is quite valuable for Perry to be able to gain some mop-up duty experience in order to prepare for 2018.
What do you guys think?
