Gotta wonder what Diaz was thinking last year when Richt said some of the stuff he said as it relates to the offense. Glad we have restored sanity.

Diaz sounds like he reads the board with some of his responses in the interview about explosive plays, special teams issues, and just replacing players in general like for an example carter and Jenkins then have others step up or Trent Harris/chad/McIntosh/norton and then other guys step up

Great 1st show. Manny certainly sounds the part, and has everyone excited about TNM. Saturday night we get to see the benefits of the offseason and practice, plus scrimmages. Let’s hope we walk away from Orlando with a hard fought, we’ll deserved victory. It will definitely show us all that Miami is back on the right track in our climb back up Mt Rushmore of college football. Make no mistake, we’re going to get there, one step, one hill at a time.

To me what sticks out is when manny said on air that you can either sit there and try to out execute the other guys or you can put pressure on them to make mistakes. Diaz essentially said miami defense is based on forcing the offense to make mistakes . He noted that Coach dan enos is all about making the defense make mistakes compared to just trying to out execute them. This whole response seems directly opposite of richt trying to just out talent you which we all complained of him doing with his simplistic offensive system with no wrinkles

Has anyone checked on Richt after those shots were fired?

"You can try and out-execute the other guy but it’s a lot more fun to get the other guy to mess it up. What coach Enos brings is he gives the defense the chance to mess it up pre-snap or post-snap with all the different eye candy you have to see."
