This Thanksgiving I am thankful for...

The Canes having no cancellations yet! Some of the 7 games have been meh some have been great but either way football beats no football all day everyday. I saw some stat today that 18% of FBS games have been postponed/cancelled so far this year. Living in a hotspot populated area like Miami I expected one or two cancellations by this point but I've been pleasantly surprised! I know it's very random as to who gets the virus and who doesn't, but hats off to the staff and players cause they're clearly following protocol and staying disciplined and focused. If COVID happened during the 2019 season could you imagine how many cases we'd have with the leadership/culture surrounding that team?? I don't even wanna think about it. I'm currently a student at Wisconsin so how this season has transpired so far for the Badgers has made me even more grateful and aware of how impressive it's been to see our Canes every single week with very few to no cases. Let's hope the trend continues for us. Also f*ck Vag Tech Deriq's gonna carve that *** up like the Thanksgiving Hokie they're inevitably about to become.
