This team has no vocal leaders on Offense

When you're a vocal leader in this Offense you get called a Cancer, then the fans bash you because they have their heads shoved so far up the Coaches *** they can't even see straight.

There's a reason why guys like Jaquan, Shaq, Rome, Red, Bandy, Amari, Garvin, Al Jr & many others absolutely love playing for El Jefe. Even guys from last year like Chad, Trent, Malek etc, they loved playing in this Defense & had no issue with being coached hard.

A bunch of offensive players have felt this way for a while now, some will voice it more than others but make no mistake it's a bunch of'em. Now you can do what yall always do & just call the kids selfish entitled knuckleheads but just ask yourself, you really think we got multiple QB's, RB's, WR's, TE's & OL's that are ALL just bad kids? Really? Lol smh.

It's no surprise that a message board full of idiots wouldn't recognize that leaders are leaders because of what they have inside, not because of who is coaching them. We were 10 and f'ing 0 last year, but lost the last game because our QB just wasn't feeling it that day. Does anyone here think that - with the EXACT same offense - guys like Dungey or Trubisky go into Pitt and lose that game?
Well nobody here would compare rosiers talent too likes of tribuisky or even dungey..or at least I hope not

Miss me???

Correct. There was all kinds of energy running through the whole program until Rosier decided to be unfocused in the last game of the season.
Not that hard to keep a team in line when you’re winning. Richt has failed time and time again stop the bleeding (3 four game losing streaks in less than three years)....just one of his many shortcomings

I gave Rosier and the entire team a pass for the Pitt game. (not to horn-toot here but) I told my coworker from Pitt that we would lose that game as soon as the noon start was announced. That was what it was.

That said, I think you guys point has validity in general.

Maybe they can pick up a bunch of the loud mouth know-it-all armchair QB's from this board...

We have no standouts on the oline. We played two quarterbacks all year when the players wanted the kid on the bench. One rb seems more reserved and the other is a leader, but also dating the wr coach’s daughter. So that means frustrated WRs won’t side with dj’s positivity 247. Our WRs don’t get the ball enough. Our starting tight end got injured at the beginning of the year while our 2 freshmen te shouldn’t be leaders so young. We lost our first big game of the year then went on a 4 game losing streak to 4 inferior teams.

Was destined to be a bad year on offense...these kids know they’re worth and they’re mad it’s not being realized

Lmao when has a coach here referred to guys tryna be leaders as “cancers”
In fact I don’t remember anyone on this board refer to a player tryna be a leader as a “cancer”..you can be guywith moral character flaws..and still be a leader on a football team..see Jamies Winston for example

You think Coach Brown was just talking about players on the bench when he said that in an interview?

You know what, nevermind.

Go find the full qoute and read it..I think he definitely was talking about guys who are mopping around. A guy like pope who comes out in social media after a win to talk about “he’s not eating”. A true fresh. Yes I’d imagine he taking about like that. TB has praised our spoken players on that side of the ball in the past. Like walton and berrios

You need Dawgs. Coached can’t make players have that dawg in them. A guy like Braxton you could tell in his recruitment interviews he had those qualities. Same with walton by how he carried himself...on O id say DJ has that. And that’s it

Stop posting.

It's a waste of time even go & back fourth on it with devout Coach worshippers which is why I'm not.

But I'm not speaking from a place of speculation & he wasn't just talking about players complaining.

This is abundantly clear, and anyone on here who knows people connected to, or on the team, knows that the senior and 5th yr class are quiet, and the freshman and 2nd year players are not yet catching on to what it means to be a leader.

A lot of this bull**** in the QB room, or on the offensive line comes from a lack of example being set by leaders on the team, beit upper classmen or just star players.

You hear about how Jaquan is the leader on D, the guy to rally the troops etc.. but you never hear that from the O.

There is no self-policing, and to me this seems to be part of what the coaching staff wants to see from these guys.

There are more connected people than me, so maybe they can chime in, but this is the primary problem. I think having a QB or a vet on the O-line who pulls everyone in line is required going forward. Too many divas.
Problem is younger kids are more talented than the upper class mates no one to look up to.

It has no vocal leaders on O because Richt wants to be the vocal leader of the O.
