A condition has to be a first rate defensive coordinator next year.

I agree on all points. Shows you how much of a corch Danny Miaz is. Even today, some of the play calling was atrocious in the 2nd half.

Our back 7 is almost all-time bad at the U. If it wasn’t for Rique, Williams and Kitchens, it would be all-time bad. Couch looks nothing like the player that he was. Ivey is terrible. Gurvan is non-existent.

If it wasn’t for VanDyke and the young bucks on offense, it would have been another L.

It also doesn’t help that even when Mallory makes a good play, he has the uncanny ability to ruin/almost ruin it.

I agree.

Manny can survive the horrible start to this year and actually thrive……..

but he has to be smart enough to hire a a good DC

HC/DC just dosent work that much

Manny can turn this season into a win if he’s smart enough to
 
Still waiting for us to play 60, or ****, even 45 mins.

31 in the 1st half, 7 in the 2nd half. We’ve either started slow & finished fast or vise versa.

I wasn’t sold on TVD but I realized it wasn’t him vs. the guy calling plays. He’s smart & now I’ve seen him hit guys w/ pressure in his face.

This defense is still putrid. We had a 14 pt switch that changed the outcome; Addison wide open & Pickett threw into double coverage.

We’re winning these past two games despite chitty defensive play calling. Why? B/c we have THE MOST TALENT IN THR ENTIRE ACC SANS CLEMSON (and they’ve fallen). We should be ACC champs this season; now we have to play a perfect stretch, and pray for UVA & Pitt to lose another ACC game just to win the Coastal. This is not how our story was supposed to go this season.

This. This. This. I was telling someone we finally gave up the run first schtick we’ve seen for 2 years. We don’t have the lineman for that. Pass then run, that was always the way. Oh, and pulling Guards and Tackles on power plays. More of that please.

That MSU loss isn’t looking as terrible. We played like **** and that is on us. But MSU is a pretty good team.

A one loss Miami team whose only loss was to Alabama would have most likely made it into the playoffs. We’d fight for that fourth spot but we’d 100% be in the conversation.
