the only thing that can stop us from getting back is the fanbase crucifying players and coaches
Mario is the man for the job and he'll get us there - or **** close every single year
No one is perfect, manI respect Mr.Cristobal as a man. I haven’t liked all the choices the past years but he’s a cane. I value him as the coach as a cane.
Facts bro. The **** still hurt even though it’s been a few days, but they’ll bounce back.No one is perfect, man
But despite it all, when you take a team to the Natty...its hard to nitpick.
Actually, they were 40 yards away. Even closer.
My take is Mario's formula for success is the right one. The trenches are going to get you deep in the playoffs every year. There are areas and positions on the team he needs to level up and improve. If he can do that, and a few portal pieces fall our way, then I honestly think Miami should be the favorite next year.
After last year I thought, "s***, we wasted Cam and how are we ever gonna get back here?", and then we were 40 yards away from a national championship. If he does this right we can be sitting there like the Ohio State's and Indiana's of the world watching every game be a 21+ win and feeling like a juggernaut in the playoffs. That wasn't us this year. Three out of four playoff games we were the underdog. We can get better.
But Mario needs to level up one more time.
I'm not certain we are reading the same porst gato.Facts but I'm still sick at the glaring holes that were exploited. QB and DBs were garbage. What is with the glazing.
Indy is done ... all their grown a$$ 26 year old men from JMU and other universities are gone...
They will not get past OSU and other teams in that conf

Make the FG and take a safety on the Blocked punt. We win by 1.Potentially lost by 8 inches.
Two FG’s hit the upright. 4 inches in the other direction each and we’re driving for a game winning FG, and not throwing that last pass.
Hetherman had BOTH Saban and Belichek questioning his defensive IQ at points during game.. Giving free access throws, ugh..Dawson is not a championship OC.
Corey Heatherman is a championship DC.
Overall, our Canes must correct the penalty miscues to near 0 or they will never be a championship team.
From your keyboard to God's ears....True true...
But I feel like Mario is building a team that can contend every year. He's building the team from the inside-out, putting an emphasis on elite line play on the both sides of the ball.
If you have those things, you always have a shot.
Honestly...I think we're only seeing the tip of the iceberg. We competed for a natty with no elite outside threat at WR. A shaky TE room. A limited QB. Imagine how much better this team/offense could be with a guy on the outside who can take the top of a defense to compliment Malachi...or a QB who can hurt you with his legs...or a TE that's a mis-match for defenses. We're still missing a few pieces IMO, and those pieces can take us over the hump.
Losing Mesidor and Bain sucks but from what I'm told inside the building Lowe is a future 1st rounder...and we already know Lightfoot can play. Combine that with 5-stars Blount and Scott on the inside... then Thornton at Nickel...I don't see this defense taking many steps back. The Linebacker unit will consist of guys Hetherman recruited and developed, and we got a couple freaks there as well.
I think this team is cementing itself as one of the elites.
I agreeI don't get the coordinators are not NC caliber talk. The team was 40 yards away with plenty of time on the clock from winning the NC. They had been moving down the field pretty easily to get there. Dawson didn't tell Beck to force a throw and Hetherman isn't the special teams coach.
Now, is the special teams coach NC caliber, that is definitely up for debate.
