The fate of the athletic department for the next 25 to 30 years (obviously!) I wonder why It can’t be as simple as picking an athletic Director and the head coach that live up to the standard of five national championships in football and four in baseball along with wanting the basketball program to become elite!
That’s how this search should go. Maybe it’s an oversimplification but picking these key roles should be based on the aforementioned criteria!
