It’s almost like Blake James just want **** done as quickly as possible instead of actually putting some time and thought into the hire.

Diaz defense is overrated. Now we will have Banda/Patke calling plays.
Diaz has proven he cant recruit.

He may very well end up doing well and hire an innovative mind on offense, but why hire a totally unproven commodity at HC and someone who is not an elite recruiter. Smdh for days...
 
The fact that the university wanted to get this search done early to focus on finishing THIS year’s recruiting class is straight amateur hour and is so neglectful of this program’s future prospects in CFB.

Maybe Manny calls plays and hires an OC. I’d be cool with that. You wanted an OC you got it.

So far, so good. Let’s pray he uses the momentum of the hire and that the reports of his phone blowing up is true with potential candidates wanting in. If that’s the case, he will have a wide swath of people to pick from and hopefully he realizes this, and makes the right call.
