This entire program has been a Mickey Mouse affair ever since 2003. Everything about Miami football now shows that we don’t know WTF we’re doing and no plans to change ANYTHING. We see the same crap every year no matter who our Bargain Basement coach is.
Every year we see the following:
1. An abomination of an OL that has our mediocre QB running for his life, resulting in him becoming so gun-shy that he eventually can’t play at all.
2. A blizzard of penalties and horrible turnovers continuously killing momentum.
3. Junior high level Special Teams play
4. Constant confusion on the sidelines with both players and coaches.
5. An inept AD who will keep offering extensions to 7-6 coaches and then having to eat millions of dollars when the team totally implodes in a loss so Godawful it cannot be tolerated. (Thank you Mark Richt for not being the latest bust living the high life on our dime.)
6. A disinterested administration pinching pennies on anything related to football.
7. We get OWNED in recruiting every damned year (“Please respect my decision”.....) .
We can count the quality wins this program has had on one hand since the early 2000s. Even the awful teams of the ‘60s and ‘70s surprised someone occasionally. Other than the ND aberration, have we beaten ANYONE with a pulse lately? No. We are owned by the UVAs, the Pitts, and a slew of other basketball schools. NOTHING EVER IMPROVES.

Make no mistake, the program collapsed the day coker took over. There were just too many terrific players back then to see it all immediately.
 
So we are not Clemson, Alabama, or Georgia...got it

this staff better not overplay tate just to appease him.
the wr's got open, jarren just couldnt get the throws off in time.

Program was in complete shambles in December with Richt still here.

Any rationale fan can see it's actually in pretty good shape now. UF beats that Miami team by 35+ if Richt was still the coach. Plus we've found a QB in Jarren who we would have lost if Richt stayed.

Right. Very good WR room. Loads of potential.

I do see a lot of bright spots, incidentally. A lot of our problems the other night are fixable. Some maybe not right away, but over time. Lots of room for improvement but it's young guys who will get better: OTs, QB....

I stay positive and I think it's warranted
