This play sums up Shaq Quarterman

We are talking about a generation of athletes who want to play right away while winning.

Not play right away for a Vanderbilt/SMU/Duke level program.

Well, that doest happen at most places and some people actually believe they bleed Orange & Green, im not worried at all about recruiting, we in good hands!

I speculate Miami's class is #15 or worse come December early signing.

LB play has been bad, agreed. However, these dudes were recruited to play in Doritos pattycake D. We're in year 3 and the staph hasn't developed anyone good enough to replace them.

The so called class rankings dont mean nothing, how do you rank a class full of highschoolers that havent played one down of college football. I go back to the 08 class, a bunch of receivers and linebackers and they rated it the #1 class when in the real world the 2010 class was the best because it was the most physical class!

There has tended to be a correlation between signing class "rankings" and competitiveness in tje CFP era, and even before in the ghastly BCS period as well.

You are right, beauty is in eye of angry pirate beholder, but Bama is not foing to be Bama for long if they were to ever sign consistent #15 or worse classes.

As a quick aside....isnt the body bag lyfe kinda mutually exclusive?

Of course, if you are driving the meat truck no shame is being loud and proud.

when u make Shaq plant hes not explosive enough, its almost like a lineman moving and once he gets on his heels its over u can run by him. U have to recruit Vilma types with speed and explosiveness not guys who already weighing 240 coming out of HS unless they are super gifted 5 star types then u take that risk.

As soon as this o-line situation gets straight its not gone matter what the class rankins are. There is absolutely zero correlation between class rankings and top teams. Just so happens that the top teams attract top players from all over the country. Before the internet, this rankings stuff is likje fools gold, ask skelator, the guy who took over after butch davis. These nerd websites are doing nothing special. What was V-tech's class rankings when they played for a national title. How bout oregon, those rankings are jokes. You either no good players or you dont.

I was confused when this board tried to crown Shaq after the UNC game where he was a big component of their early success. Now he's total garbage and should be benched?

It is starting to look like he arrived to college pretty much maxed out. I don't see much noticeable growth in his play. He is still a solid and **** good football player. Don't be even thinking about blaming the loss on him. You are expecting too much from one player.

BC:
BC hasn't lost on red bandana night yet. They came to the field to kick the **** out of us. They were bigger, tougher, and executed. They came right at us. They pump offensive lineman to the NFL like no other team in the ACC. They want to go right at us. They believe in their coach.

Miami:
We lose a game and everyone starts pointing fingers. We are in disarray. There is bickering in the locker room. There are egos abound. We are not a tough team. We can't go right at a team. Our quarterback plays without a spark (ever). The players do not have a belief that they can't lose. We lose two games and our guys just seem to throw in the towel easily in the face of adversity. What's worse, we lose two games and our fans will stop showing up.

I don't think Richt brings the needed culture for a Miami team. We need a coach like Butch that isn't gonna tolerate this weak *** flag football culture. I am tired of not dominating the OL and DL week in and out. Guys like Jadon Haselwood are not gonna game change our program around. It starts upfront with the OL and DL and with a nonsense coach. The state of Florida has unbelievable talent, but it must be nurtured and controlled.
