This offense will be electric

I honestly don’t see how this is not the number one team in the country. This Miami team is gonna be scary next year. And now our head man has turned become a decent game day coach bro. I don’t think I ever been as confident as us winning it all as I am in 2026.

and if mensah is a heisman candidate you’re going to say he called his own plays like people think cam did 90% of the time. Coaching is a thankless job man lol
Its funny they say cam was calling alot of audibles its like who you think giving him the answers for what the defense is showing? The oc is giving you two plays before the snap for different looks, and built the audibles within the offense.

They also played well against Clemson and some other talented players, but yeah, some numbers came against poor defenses.

To be fair, Mensah himself played alongside inferior talent.

Barkate, their clear #1, will unlikely be a featured player in our offense. Great complement in certain formations, though.
Barkate not featured alongside Fletcher + Toney?

Realistically we can lose 2 as long as we win the ACC. Notre Dame isn’t an ACC game so if we lose (we won’t) it’s not a huge deal. Lose only 1 ACC game and I think we will be in the ACC championship game. After winning ACC we are in the playoffs with a possible bye.
Must assume ACC is only getting 1 team into CPO.

However Miami gets there, they need to make it happen.

But this at-large bull**** is delulu.

ND will be 100% protected by polls for #12 slot, no matter how manny losses they get.

Not sure if this was already posted, but here’s “The Film Guy” breakdown of Mensah. Brooks Austin came away very impressed with Mensah’s Deep ball accuracy and his ball placement in general.

Top 10 scoring O and top 12 scoring D is my expectation with this schedule, along with a 1st sround bye. Idc, get it done.
Just gotta hope and pray we don’t get hit with the injury bug. One of the things that gets glossed over when people discuss this past season is how lucky we got with injuries. Shout out to the medical staff, strength and conditioning, nutrition, etc. for helping with that, but I do think luck is a factor as well.

And we have to build a team mentality. College football is littered with the husks of “ mercenary” teams that SHOULD have been amazing but the me over we ruled their days. I do trust Mario to build a solid team focused group, however. I think that sets us apart.

I would temper our expectations, last year it was going to be Clemson with a great qb and great offense until it wasn’t. As excited as I am about Mensah I am concerned with his fumbling. If you group his fumbles and interceptions you will see he turns the ball over too much and this will cost us a game or two. He needs to protect the ball.

It’s just hate with nothing behind it honestly. Like they choose to believe a college quarterback was out there like he was from the Peyton manning/ tom Brady era changing plays when nfl qb’s today can’t even do it

I remember the same thing was said about Ward before his season here..I’m sure Dawson will work on this with Mensah

That sort of answers it, no? Featured means featured. Toney will be our featured player. In Dawson’s offense, the slot is the way.
I was envisioning a hydra-esque O attack where all 3 touch the ball simultaneously.

Call it the Cirque de South Beach offense.

In all seriousness, and no dig at X DAW GAWD, Barkate seems like a taller/faster version of him?

I compared him to Keenan Mccardell. I was told I can't cross races, but I'm a rule breaker.

While only being in the system for a few months lmao
