Our team thrives under pressure and with everyone counting us out. Right now no one believes we even have a chance to beat Clemson. Everyone is saying we're trash and overrated. Richt will use this as a way to motivate our team!

It will force a lot of people to re-examine some things they are doing that’s for sure

I dont know if I would go that far with the loss. Remember, we have a knack for going on losing streaks after that 1st loss. That's what I'm hoping doesnt happen. Lets hope this team uses it to light a new fire.

NO!

yep

told my wife i think it was good we lost today

i want to be the underdog and counted out when we play clemson

just like nd

The loss proves valuable if the players learn from it and stop drinking their own koolaid. If that's what they were doing, which judging by their body language against UVA and Pitt, seems like was the case.

Loss just proved that Malik is so limited in abilities and so is our pathetic punter.... that every other aspect of our team has to work at avery high level to make up for those deficiencies!!! when they don't we look like we don't belong...

Same here. All year we’ve been playing the underdog card.

FSU- 7 year itch
VT- Came off a close UNC Win
ND- #3 team at the time

This team hasn’t learned to be dominate consistently. And I for one think it’s a great sign as we have yet to leak with the teams potential.

Once they figure that out, which it will be next year after experiencing it this year. **** is going to be bad for the rest of the country.

So which it is? We thrive under pressure or are we at our best when nobody gives us a chance?

Because we were #2 in the nation and controlled our own destiny and embarrassed ourselves against a 4-7 team.

You never want to lose, but sometimes it’s the only way to see what your team is made of.
Either they fold or flourish.
To be honest, we played down to competition all year.
It was bound to happen.
We got the ACCCG and we will find out a **** of a lot more very soon.
Now EVERYONE is back to calling the Canes fakes.. we will see who rises

Yeah, I'm glad we lost too. I hate playing for National Championships. Was worried there for a while that we might play for one and maybe even win one. Whew! Disaster averted. Thanks, Pitt!

Loss just proved that Rosier has hit his ceiling and it is not enough.

QB position will be open for competition next year.

If we beat Clemson we're still in.

Better hope it does wake them up but there is no evidence to that. They didn’t learn from all the other slow starts and playing down to the opponent

To be honest, this offense has been teetering with this for a while.

The OL has been horrible, not opening a lane for **** for RBs. Walton's talent hid that. Rosier's running hid some of it too. The RBs not being able to do **** has hurt.

Rosier had some bad throws. Berrios dropped two also.

Herndon going down kills us, Jr is not ready.

Richards hasn't been right all season. He will need the off season to heal up.

We have some small young receivers, but we have no receivers this year that have length and speed. No over the top fade route receivers. Berrios has been filling in, but he doesn't have that 6-3 6-4 frame to go over bigger DBs.

The D has been solid. We need to look to an alternative to McCloud, he shouldn't be a starter.

To be honest, we just don't have the stars on offense, but this class closes some of those holes.

We basically still control our own destiny.... Only issue is it's pretty hard to see us beating Clemson after this performance.

When the Vegas lines shifted, I knew the refs would fvck us again.
We got shady calls that affected our field position and of course NO holding calls.
The only way to guarantee that Miami doesn't make the playoffs is to lose to Pitt and Clemson. We'lll see.
