This King Kid is Legit but...

God I hope Lashlee does something with this oline. Dude is legit, but I still think he will be running for his life mostly. But I rather have him running with the ball than any of the other QBs because at least his iq is way above theirs. After I saw that one highlight where he ran for it on a 4th and 7 and had to juke the entire defense to break loose for the td.. that's when I was really hoping we got dude.

3. There's some experience on this squad that he'll have to compete with

What ****es me off is that Jarren and Kosi made sure they worked hard enough to keep Tate off the field, and if this guy cant come in and win that damned job, and hopefully show TVD the ropes, we're still up ****'s creek w/o a paddle.

I hope he wins it, and sends at least one of those current guys off packing. Williams and Perry have been a problem!

What's amazing to me is that on paper, we've got what I said this team needed to go to a decade and a half ago. Spread teams out, showcase a dynamic and fast offense, then the local guys will beg for offers.

Love it, just hope the OL takes huge strides to make it all come together.

Huge strides scratches the surface for the the oline needs to do

perry has been fine off the field. tate and JW have been issues off field

Well the oline will all be back hopefully we see big improvement from these guys. And along with the new offense scheme should take some pressure off of them also.but im all for landing a couple guys from the portal

He's the goods. Led 5th scoring offense in 2018 and joining with OC who called 7th ranked scoring offense last year. Not much to figure out here. Match made in heaven.

Pretty sure Tate thought that but he wasn't coming to play for 1 year and also pretty sure he wasn't even in consideration by pundits as a Heisman dark horse. He wasn't even a starter where he came from. Any other asinine comparisons you want to make?
