The beginning of the year we had a new QB with little time healthy enough to practice. We had numerous new talents at many positions. We had an ALL-STAR team loaded with talent but unfamiliar with their teammates. In spite of that we defeated ND in a game we dominated but made many mistakes and squeaked out a win. Florida, FSU offered no challenge to out talented ALL-STAR team. Then SMU happened and a team meeting yet Louisville happened and oh my God all this talent is going to waste BUT the team became a TEAM and they recognized their potential. And poor NC ST got crushed as we became cohesive. Unbelievable that they didn't cross the 50 until the 4th quarter. Shades of a talent level like our historic Canes and we dominated opponents smashing Pitt so bad we made the tournament. Texas A&M was tamed at home with only 3 points. OSU smashed, Ole Miss that we had to outscore thrown out. This is NOT the TEAM that defeated ND. It is much better, a juggernaut anxious to get this over with and deserving the crown jewel of college football. Don' fret, don't worry...we are the best team and we are not the rambling AA-STAR team that began this season. We are a true and powerful team as in our storied past. IT'S GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE!
