This is too much

There was a good banner last year, and we still lost a bunch of local impact recruits because of the product on the field.

News flash: Keep losing, and guys like Mullins will use angry UM fans as his pretext for de-committing. Keep trotting out a hapless offense where a monster like Stacy Coley had about 10 yards receiving two games into the season and see how many of those offensive recruits keep their options open and make business decisions.

Same dudes who were claiming that we weren't getting recruits because we weren't the hot program and that we needed to win 10 games to turn the tide with all the super blue chippers are now claiming it's the fans who are sick of losing and looking like garbage that are going to cost us recruits.

This is adorable. Look at the OP and look at the list of likes..

It's a who's who of the Don Bailey Jr emulating, sunshine pumping, administration loving, low football IQ and lack of common sense crew.

Bomb...do us a quick favor and hit "like" on that first post just so we can have a complete population. Thanks in advance.

This **** cracks me up.

IF Al Golden was CRUSHING opponents none of this would matter.

You could fly a huge ***** over the stadium with it ******* him in the *** and no one would care.

LOL @ clowns saying the fans/banners affect recruits.

Any recruit that legitimately makes a decision based on anything fans say is a clown and won't amount to a thing in college and more likely life.

Thinking other colleges mired in mediocrity don't have these same dumbass fans that do stupid ****.

What is a worse response is the moronic fans that think we should wait till the end of a season to evaluate a staff, and better yet not say anything till then... smh

Dead on-- we have a body of work spanning 3 years that was abysmal at best-- and up until labor day, roughly 50% of this board were apologists in one way or another. Now, maybe they're a quiet and "closeted" 15%-20% but instead of sticking up for Fat Al they make these strawman arguments questioning and berating others as "bad fans" completely ignoring the facts of the past 3 years and the most recent evidence that says this HC and his staff couldn't find their asses with both hands...

Whiny, nancy-boy, excuse makers. Pathetic.

If these recruits wanna leave, show them the door. Im done getting into this recruiting nonsense & buying into these 4* 5*. Gimme a 3* with fire or a 4* like Berrios any day of the week.

So you like some 4 and 5*s, but not others? Sound reasoning.

Hopefully, the team adopts your recruiting philosophy, and stops trying to persuade top level recruits to come to UM if they're on the fence.

Fugggggg offff

****** on the field product and losing does a lot more damage for recruiting than negativity towards a coach or firing the coach. I know this all too well...****** offense has hurt our offense recruiting tremendously. Kids watch the games, they play the game, they know the game...if they see a **** product they will recognize quicker than most fans.

I remember people calling Teddy Brigdewater soft and not worth anything when he cited the negativity from the fanbase in his decision making process. He didn't want what Jacory got. Fan negativity never has an affect though....

Bridgewater wanted to play for a black coach. It wasn't the fans, but they provided a convenient excuse for public consumption because reality probably wouldn't be a good thing to share. Make of it what you will.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying fans have no impact. Especially weirdos that follow kids on twitter, say racist ****, call them names for wavering or whatever..but all this pales to the actual product on the field. That matters most.

If you win, fans saying **** on twitter doesn't matter when the coach has credibility and is winning. Golden isn't winning and his credibility is fading and that's why his defenders are up in arms...because they know his record and the product on the field can't stand on its own.

Bunch of btich *** porsters on this one.

Fvck Al Golden and the double ended ***** he rode in on.

"Are you kiddin' me!?" GTFO sweaty greasy cumstain.

There's the Ted Bridgewater falsity. Was waiting for that one to be trotted out. Funny how he had no problem with the fans until Shannon got fired.

I think you got gator flag hanging in your garage!

No one flew a banner or said **** about golden for 3 years. We gave him time and support, this site even flew a banner thanking him. This isn't season one. Anyone crying about this has ulterior motives and doesn't have the best interest of the program at heart. They just want to see golden on UMs sidelines so they can cheer for him and his woe is me schtick.

Fact is, golden had the support of everyone going on three years, the peak was after the UF game. He lost all of that when he **** the bed against VT, Duke, UL the PSU thing and again UL. Say what you want but fans have justified grievances and a banner is an expression of those grievances.
