This season confirmed what the fan base has known for 15 years, which is, with the talent we attract, a coastal division and a OB appearance should be the "floor" for accomplishments. A lot of people have propositioned the question: "if told you in August, we beat FSU, win 10 games, win the coastal and head to to the OB, would you be happy?" The obvious answer is "yes." However, we can now put an asterisk next to the answer. We all have a sour taste in our mouths, because of how we just played the last two games. Success next year is not promised (just ask FSU), and being right "there" and falling so flat is such a tough pill to swallow. Instead of the last couple of weeks exposing how close we were to "being back," it showed how far away we are. I don't mean this in a completely negative tone, for the first time in 15 years, we not only trending in the right direction, but the results are showing on the field.

Similar to the game against WVU last year, I think the game against Wisconsin is critical to perception. Winning the game brings back the good vibes to the recruiting trail and spring football. We can then start to address the issues that plagued the team this season.

Good post....

Don't expect miracles next year.

1. We were not that good this year and..
2. We lose several key players
3. Our OL is a mess again with no proven depth
4. We have a qb problem - Perry has physical skills but the mental part is unknown.
5. We need an Offensive coordinator which will probably won't get

Gonna be tough to repeat the conference is very competitive

Great Coaches always seek to improve their program/staff. Will we see changes? If we do, we will improve.

Defense: I am okay with our Defensive staff. Manny's Philosophies could use some serious adjustments.

Offense: We need to scrap whatever in the **** we do on offense. Scrap the run blocking scheme and route tree. We need a creative Offensive Play-Caller and a new OL Coach.

No Offensive Coordinator can make up for a QB missing wide the **** open receivers streaking behind the secondary. This is window licking nonsense to even suggest that our problems are due to lack of creativity. When you see Jeff Thomas or Ahmmon Richards wide open in the seam, guess what, **** heads, that was a perfect play called at the perfect time. When a team cannot execute a simple swing pass or bubble screen the answer to that is not to get MORE complex and creative. We've got guys struggling with the most vanilla basic concepts in the game and dumbasses think the fix is more fly-motion jet sweeps.

The great thing about CMR's offense is that it has a built in counter to anything a defense does. It only looks vanilla because we have an inexperienced signal caller who so far isn't capable of utilizing everything the offense is capable of. Go look up HurricaneVision and read some of his film break downs and you'll be astonished at how many times when plays failed it was because we threw to the wrong guy, missed the route progression, missed a blocking assignment, or any number of simple breakdowns in execution.

What was Richt's policy on recruiting JuCos at UGA? Thinking mainly about OL next season.

Miami won ten games despite starting a QB that couldn't consistently complete passes, even when the route tree was stripped down to a remedial level. Miami beat two top 20 teams in convincing fashion, and raced out to a 10-0 record, even with a severe lack of depth and experienced talent in key areas. It's amazing how idiots, who have been wandering the desert for the last fifteen years are whining about the water they were given isn't ice cold. This season has been **** good, and with the positive momentum in recruiting, the team should be significantly better going forward.
