Perry is playing like he’s fresh out of the spring scrimmage and rightfully so. Everyone else on the field has 9-10 games of experience this season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Perry transfer and have a moderately successful college career.
Richt isn’t winning games with QBs that are an Al Golden fourth string hold over, and a big time recruit that he can’t figure out how to lead.
This is Richts fault, of course. But his vanilla offense will go 9-4/10-3 with anything other than two terribly inept “game managers.”
Hopefully Williams is serviceable, because Richt isn’t getting fired, probably isn’t changing the offense much, and I don’t think we have a 2019 QB commit.
His floor is going to get knocked down a notch if Williams doesn’t develop, and Richt can’t figure out how to relate with Perry. I actually enjoyed the 10-3 ACC championship blowout loss season. That’s pretty much our ceiling.
