I thought it might have skirted the issue. But I get why you’re doing this, other people might have responded a little less jocularly than I. I think @Ash Joshi is a good guy.

We can't have some guys getting away with talking about that subject and others not because it'll just lead to more animosity and rancor. If I slip and talk about that stuff, then I expect someone to call me out too.

I know exactly where you’re coming from. There’s enough rancor about this play football/don’t play football, without introducing that particular word into it.

Coincidentally, you know what a lot of states that comprise the SEC, Big 12, and ACC are? Right to work states... aka no unions. Green states are no unions allowed, grey allows unions. Funny how that looks on conference lines.
