This Is How You Win Championships

He's the only coach that has replicated the success of the 80s/90s Canes. I think that is what this post is all about...how do we get back to the old glory days. It won't happen unless we get a coach so obsessed with winning and a system that everything else takes a backseat. Be it right or wrong, Richt ain't that guy.

There's a coach who started from almost scratch, and developed the 2000, 2001, and 2002 teams - right down the street.

Even Saban didn't have to face 31 scholarship losses when he arrived at Alabama.

I feel you Bro. That would have been my #1 choice but politics are very powerful in America!!

You think he would have done a better job than MR? **** yeah. I would have put some easy money on that!!

How's political decisions been working for you BJ??

What's your solution Einstein? Look at all your posts, you have none except criticism of others that are looking for solutions. Face it, MR is a ******* flop!!

My solution is the same as yours. Hire a clone of the greatest coach ever. Shouldn't be very difficult. Just go hire that guy.

Study successful people, understand the commonalities that make them successful. You familiar with the "Pareto" Principle? (As an example 20% of all coaches win 80% of their games, conversely, 80% of coaches win 20% of their games). Study like **** what makes that 20% so successful and focus on those guys to hire into your sports Programs. No cloning just hard smart ******* work. We don't have neither the patience nor time to give any unknown commodity a chance right now. BJ is the wrong guy for this critical and important position. His results prove this.

Awesome analysis. Hire the guy who is most like Nick Saban.

Who is that guy? Who is the no-brainer who is just waiting for our phone call?

Here's an idea. See if Jimmy Johnson would be interested in being our AD? He could run it from where ever the **** he wants to in my opinion. He would definitely know what the **** he would be looking for in a HC! Hey, if the money is right?

Millenials want instant gratification. No hard work involved. You and I cannot communicate Bro..

Question- Could you be related to BJ? Are you him?

If I were our AD, I would start by doing research on what makes some Head Football Coaches extremely successful at running their Programs. I would start doing that NOW. I would then use that as a baseline of what I'm looking for. It takes time to do this guys. If it was easy every program would be a BAMA, which they are not. Got to start somewhere. Study and follow successful people!! People don't plan to fail. Instead they fail to plan. Did we do our due diligence/planning when we hired Shannon? Golden? Richt? The proof is in the pudding!!

As an example the first year failure rate in the Hospitality Industry is between 98%-99%(Per the BBB statistics). If I wanted to open a new Restaurant, what data would I want to study in order to have the best chance possible at succeeding? I will tell you that personal feelings account for the majority of the 98%-99% failures. What you like is not necessarily what other people will like.

You just attended some kind of feel good seminar, didn't you.
