But as much as I was enjoying our start and being in the spot light...I don't have a sick feeling in my stomach. Am I numb to this? Has the last 25 years made me this way? Is it the new state of CFB? Is it that I know Mario is good for this once or twice a year?

Beginning of the season (and I posted this earlier this week), I expected 1 loss in first 5 and one in ACC play. Maybe I already expected defeat?

Yeah, yeah, **** me, I know. Losses just don't hurt as much anymore.

Losses are almost comical now

The reality is, we’re fine. This sucks for the most part because we were enjoying finally being relevant again in CFB.

Now, we have to earn everyone’s respect again. And even if we win out, people will still clown us.

But we all know we’ll still be in the playoff if we win out. Our resume is too strong. But we have ZERO room for error now. That’s the scary part. We’ll be sitting on pins and needles every Saturday until Thanksgiving. Buckle up.

If you're like me, they don't hurt as much anymore because no matter how good Miami looks in September and early October, I know that late October and November are just around the corner waiting for us to collapse again.

When you've seen it over and over again for over 20 years, it's to be expected.

Besides, I never thought this team was going undefeated anyway. Unfortunate to lose this one, but makes sense considering the opponent
