Lets say Miami wins convincingly, in Boone, against a team that should've beat UT, Miami will get the benefit of having won a road game and winning more handily than what UT could do. Lets assume UT runs the table and is sitting at 12-0 and Miami is sitting at 12-0, guess who gets the one seed?

They have to play Alabama this year, in addition to TAMU as their other SEC West match up. Then their normal SEC east line up, Gators being the only reasonable threat, but ya never know. I'd chalk up that Bama game as an instant loss for UT.

Bama usually has one down game a year, and it always seems to be Mississippi. It could be UT this season, you never really know. Either way, I don't see UT winning out but I do believe that they are the best SEC East team because that side of the conference is garbage.

IMO, MR is fully aware that if he gives Appy a good ole fashioned country *** whipping the program will receive some serious attention. I don't think this game will be close.

By your logic, and against what many have said here, the fact that App nearly beat Tennessee, and Tennessee curb stomped VT, means that App is better than VT.

Eric, I may have missed it in one the other 30 threads that you have posted in but have you offered up a prediction for the game yet? What are you anticipating the final score to be?

Look I'm not here to bash on App. State they have a decent team I would compare them to Duke or UVA. But you guys can't really be confident just because you went to OT against Tennessee, right. You lost to Arkansas State last year, 99% of America wouldn't even know they have a team and you beat Ohio by 2. I just don't get the confidence

Eric, I may have missed it in one the other 30 threads that you have posted in but have you offered up a prediction for the game yet? What are you anticipating the final score to be?

I expect it to be in the 20-10 range. Could be 27-10. App misses an extra point again.

In all reality, I expect Miami to win. I don't know how to project the score because while the defense is stout, I don't really know how they match-up with Miami as the first two games were against spread offenses. Miami runs a more sophisticated pro style which may cause problems but without seeing how Nate Woody game plans against that style, I believe Miami could score anywhere from a low of 17 points to a high of 45 points. The higher you go, the more likely to win because I don't think App is capable of putting up any more than 17-24 points.

Need I remind you that according to ESPN's FPI, you are more likely to beat 4 different ACC teams than to beat App. You will give them respect solely based on the fact they are conference opponents. You're ranking of teams is obviously biased and not founded in logic.
