This is the first time in a very long time Miami has put a team on the field that has this many upperclassmen starting. There is only 1 starter that has not been out of high school for at least 3 years. I believe the age and maturity has been the a big reason for this early success. Hopefully that will be the difference against Clemson.

And to think they can all come back if they choose to do so.
I would love for bubba, king, hall, brevin, jarrid williams, jaelen phillips, blades to all come back and i think with those guys returning we make a serious run. Hopefully mccloud and jennings is aremore heavily challenged

My post was half in jest. I know those guys gotta go get theirs and they deserve it. Based on how they're playing right now all the guys i mentioned, if they were to leave, would in my opinion deserve it.

Brevin: 1-2 round
phillips: 1-3 round
bubba: 2-4 round
blades: 2-4 round (with current trajectory expanded upon 11 game season)
Hall should stay
King i think should stay cause he is below TLaw, fields, lance for sure. Next year maybe he is higher
Jarrid williams just been in college a while and probably wants to go
cam goes

Also i hope nesta stays and continues to work on a more polished rush game

It's not just veterans, it's he right kind of veterans.

We have gone from guys biding time til they became draft eligible to get the **** out of here to portal guys who are focused and hungry to win because they've been through **** and back just to get this opportunity.

Phillips-medically retired
Bolden-Wrongly screwed over by USC
King-Coach left and replaced by that nut from WV
Williams-NFL talent, like King stuck in a disaster in Houston
Roche-Great talent stuck in a nothing conference with another team

This team has the opportunity to be special because these players are special.

We do have age and maturity, but you will still here posters crying for freshman to play. Even though, the entire 4th quarter against FSPoo, literally the entire defense except Ragone were RsFrosh or True Frosh. That is valuable playing time. They all have had the opportunity to play in all the games. This is the advantage to finally having an offense that can score.

Completely overlooked and under appreciated aspect of being successful is having 20-21 year olds all over the 2 deep as opposed to 18-19 year olds. Of course that doesn't mean we should play upper class men over more talented under class men, but it does help when a team has experienced talent as opposed to just talent. Especially in close games.

As usual Miami (Fla.) has very good first-team talent and average depth. A sometimes useful exercise and good barometer of a rooster's overall health is to see how the 2-deep would appear by eliminating the starters.

QB Perry / Van Dyke
RB Chaney / Knighton
WR Few / Restrepo
WR Payton / Smith
WR Redding / Worsham
TE Mallory / Hodges
LT Nelson / Elgammal
LG Traore / Scibelli
C Reed / Griffith
RG Rivers / Donaldson
RT Washington / Walker

DE Harvey / Chantz
DT Hunte / Blissett
DT Miller / Holley
DE Cam / Joyner
LB Steed / Cave
LB Brooks / Flagg
DB Smith / Ragone
DB Couch / Dunson
DB Clarke / Harrell
DB Hall / Balom
DB Washington / Avantae

BOLD
denotes true freshman
43% of the 2's and 3's is comprised of true freshmen.
We must remain healthy to maintain this momentum.

Brevin isnt tall enough to go in the 1st or 2nd Round IMO
