This is a team of ****ups, but just beat fsu

Those 3 turnovers are the reason GT even stayed in it.

FSU isn't that lucky.

A -2 turnover ratio against a garbage Georgia Tech team never should’ve been a three-point game. Stop it. This was another abysmal performance against a bad 3-5 football team.

Canes got lucky dude’s knee was down late—that final drive 31-yard gain gave them momentum and they’re were ten yards out from a game-tying field goal.

I don't know what you think I need to stop, but those turnovers against a better team would've resulted in a loss for us. A lot of things went GT's way that kept them in it.

Is this your first year watching football? Seriously? Normally when you have 240 more yards then the other team you win the game somewhat easily. This game was close because of turnovers. Now you can blame that on the coaches if you like. Or you can give credit to the coaches, and the players recruited by the coaches, for gaining that many yards.

Very weird toxic fan base. Hate losses. But sometimes cheer for losses. Hate games that are too close. Hate blowouts against bad teams.

Just win the games and recruit better, either high school or portal.

They won't deal with the fumbling. Won't improve the LB/DL personnel or mental mistakes etc etc etc!!! They gonna come out and do the same *****.

What specific changes do you recommend?

One player I wouldn't change is Avantae Williams; seemed like he was the first one to arrive when we were punting and i think he made a few ST tackles too.
Yes, Avantae should remain on ST. I would have the following players, at minimum, on kick coverage against FSU or their return guys will destroy us:

  • Kam Kinchens
  • Avantae
  • James Williams
  • TAC
  • Tyrique

We have to have starters on special teams against FSU. Their KO return man is fast & physical. We need to make Special Teams, tackling, penalties & ball security a major focus against FSU or we could easily lose. We should be good in every other aspect.

FSU will eat our kick coverage teams alive on ST. If we lose, this and poor tackling will be the reasons. We've got to review our personnel on ST (kick coverage) and make changes or FSU will kill us with their return guys. Manny needs to get involved on this & go through a thorough review of the entire roster and get some more physical guys on ST (and sure tacklers, including starters) or FSU will beat us.
Yes, the Starters should be playing special teams. See, this is Manny's problem.
He can't recognize the obvious.

Just kick it deep. Borregales has the leg. They ask him to kick it short sometimes, it seems. Have the guy kick it to f'in whataburger.

3 turnovers. Missed FG. 2 point return. Did our best to give them the game, but came out with the win. Rough upcoming week for the root against Miami crew.
Not so fast....
We could send out the 2000 team,..and some of this current fan base would still *****!!
We get better every week, getting more consistency on offense. ..stops when needed, on D,..(we ain't pretty, need a lot if work yet,) but,..some if these guys, talk like we a pile o dung, who got lucky once,...then it was twice,..now it's a lucky streak! How bout maybe, just maybe,.. we sit back and enjoy watching these kids trying to learn how to change a broken culture! It looks like it may have potential.

Recruits will be watching. FSU has a huge recruiting budget. Keeping it close even if we win will be more fuel to their recruiting narrative about how norvel can bring that program back.
There are still some sofla players that still might chose them believe it or not.

This is the kind of nonsense I’m talking about. “ Sending out the 2000 team”. Seriously ? That’s what we’re going with? We sit 5-4 with a coach 19-14, a few wins and everything is peachy now? This truly is TNM.
Standards have cratered when we think we’ve actually turned the corner by beating Pitt at their house. That Tech game was painfully close, and by rights should have gone to them. We’ve been very lucky up to now on this run.

Any decent team, say, Oregon for example, would expose this Staph and this Program the way Bama did back in August.

What I saw Vs. Bama, was fear. Plain and simple. FEAR!!! I saw corches unwilling to make any adjustments. It’s like they didn’t even try to win the game. They gave our athletes NO CHANCE to even keep it close. I truly believe the players themselves, could have come up with a better game plan. Manny and crew, was using Bama like the NFL teams uses its pre season (as a dress rehearsal), hoping to get outta there with no injuries. He and his staph were afraid to “poke the bear”, and basically led this team into a flat out suicide mission.
