Our staff on defense in particular is a complete and utter joke besides stroud, so let's just clear that up right now. Rumph needs to be fired yesterday, our cb situation I don't think i've ever seen a situation in ANY program ever. Banda, that guy you love because he can recruit, well I can't stand the guy. Hall is an utter joke and bolden has seen such a regression it is mind boggling. Keep in mind bolden came here and on day fcking 1 was an absolute unit. So I don't wanna hear about how banda made this guy, he was good from the get go and now? LOL

With all that being said, this thread is about the players. Where is the fight in these guys? Watching unc throw the upside down U over and over and just sitting there and taking it up the *** and begging for more is all I see. If my sorry *** is out on that field idc if you suspend me i'm slamming one of these guys down to the ground just for the repeated disrespect. At the very least maybe it'll fire up my sleep walking zombie'd out squad that apparently did nothing but watch pornhub all fvking week long. Not one drop of fire out of anyone that I saw, just unbelievable how much they just sat there and got their asses beat repeatedly. Diaz can take plenty of blame, but diaz isn't out on the field, he isn't the one watching the **** tape and getting ready for game day on the actual field. I don't know if this is starting to become a south florida thing or what, but good lawd almighty these kids can only blame their head coach for so much.

And don't get me wrong, diaz deserves all the **** flack he's gonna get ALL off season about this **** show. If he doesn't fire every single one of the defensive staff besides possibly stroud, I'll have given up on him too. I'm on the borderline right now as it is, I've never said one good thing about baker since that fat sack of lard showed up here. From the very first game against florida last year where he was playing 3 man fronts and having our guys spy that sorry *** qb who won't be named, I've flat out hated the guy.

Those portal guys came in with differnt attitudes, but last night it looks llike the culture they heard about, returned and swept them up too. I bet it helps King's decsion to leave now. The defensive guys hurt themesleves with that effort last night, but are probably gone too - can you blame them, after a season that was hopeful get rubbed in the dirt in such a fashion?

Someone posted on the game thread last nigh that a coach told him you can't have more than three south Florida guys on a team because of "attitude." ****, maybe he's right after watching the Canes of the past 15 years.

Manny is just a guy that did what any of us would do, take a promotion and more money from your lazy *** employer who doesn't want to go out and get a top notch option. If James isn't eradicated from this program, he'll just hire another Manny when Manny's time is up.

James only hired richt and manny, so it’s only the last 2.

I saw effort. Anyone claiming that this was a lack of effort is full of ****. We just got terribly outcoached. Punched in the mouth and couldn't recover

It's a university problem like I been saying you get what you hired.. you hired an unproven head coach and gave him the keys to your brand new Ferrari and he totaled it.. manny did prove he deserved this job. University bargain shopping 101 again 🤢🤢

The difference being if I was ever hired for a position I wasn't qualified or ready for, I would sure as **** hire a badass team around me to make me look good and learn from.

Go back and watch some of the tape.

Some guys quit. They didn't quit on every play but they quit on some/many. RBs don't run for 200-300 yards before first contact with 11 guys on defense going full out every play.

Yep. 90% of running a program, either from the AD seat or the HC chair is the ability to surround yourself with quality people. You ask ANYONE who is successful in the business world, and they all point to that one attribute.

With that said, Manny is now going to have to fire BOTH his hand picked offensive and defensive coordinators within his first two years at the helm.

We have a program full of underqualified people who shouldn't be in the roles they are in. That is a pervasive problem that manifests itself all the way down the line.
