this game is starting to feel like last year's game vs. uf

Utter nonsense. Best of luck on Sunday. Sounds like you're gonna need it since you're already at the "well, ackshully we don't need a QB to win on the road in the year 2025" stage of cope
We don't need him to be the reason we win this game.

Precisely what does that mean? That you think you can win the game with Carr being a "game manager"? You want to win on the road on Sunday your QB is going to have make multiple big time throws. I don't think he will. Best of luck

I don't believe Carr needs to throw for a ton of yards and 3 TDs to win this game, which means I don't believe he needs to take significant risk.

Where are you getting this from? I don't think anyone is looking past Miami and I haven't seen one post on any ND board saying we're going to be in the natty.

We know we have a really good team - nothing wrong with that. Yes, QB is a massive question mark, especially in his first start in a hostile environment, but we also have valid reason to believe we don't need him to win this game. He can lose it, sure, but he doesn't need to light the world on fire to win.

Anyone thinking Miami wins big in this game is delusional. Same for ND. This game is a big boy fight.
Social media, ND pundits and podcasters. Had some ND podcasters saying Irish were going to control the line of scrimmage without giving thought to Miami’s personnel.

It’s there, not hard to find. ND has a very good team but you gotta hope that for this game CJ Carr can be an average QB to have a shot. He can end up being great, but first game on the road against a strong Miami team, you’re hoping he can just be average Day1 or it can end up being a disaster.

I’m not saying it won’t be close, but it might not be if Carr isn’t serviceable. Just my honest opinion. If you had Leonard this year, much different story.

All credible Notre Dame beat staff are saying this is a tough one. If you're listening/reading anything from IrishBreakdown / Bryan Driskell, you can stop. His whole operation is a joke. He's a guy who cares more about content and fluffing up the ND fanbase than actually reporting the truth.

He leaked it was Minchey a couple days before Carr was named starter. Word is, he got a stern 'talking to' from the ND Football office.
