Pitt came to play against us. They showed really good effort for a while before we took control. Their receivers were making some ridiculous catches and their defense was flying around making some sticks.

Coaches says all sorts of ****. He could have made the ND comment to ease pressure on his team, even.

Did Feldman write this article? Shame on him (or whoever else wrote it) for giving Gattis anonymity to **** on us. The fact that he was fired after one season, and the circumstances of his firing, should have been included since he was being asked to compare his former employer and another team. Good catch

I've never heard a coach say that a big-time game does not matter, especially when their team is having a good season and in playoff contention if they can get to the ACCCG.

Narduzzi meant what he said. That game didn't matter for them. He wasn't wrong. Probably saw that our win against ND didn't help us, so why should they do battle with ND if it won't help them. He was saving his players health for GT and Miami.

If you watch their game against ND, GT, and Miami, you will notice a stark difference in how they came out against ND and how they came out against GT and us.
 
I believe Fran threw the ND game just to hurt Miami. I'm old enough to remember the media all hot and bothered for a week touting ND's destruction of SU. How they were playing the best ball in the country now. Blah blah blah. Rigged.

Sorry, I’m trying to figure out your point. We handled Pitt as well or better than ND, so end of conversation. Idea Pitt didn’t play hard or laid down against ND is silly even speculating on. We took care of business, end of story.

My point is Narduzzi is a POS and not worthy of respect. I appreciate that he said we were the more deserving team than ND, but that does not absolve him of all his previous behavior and antics.

He absolutely laid down for ND. He said he was going to that and he and his team did just that. We will just have to agree to disagree on our beliefs about the Pitt-ND game.

Yes, we took care of business. We thrashed a good Pitt team, which makes it even more disgusting knowing that Narduzzi and Pitt gave no effort in their game against ND.

Ok, lets resolve it. Call the Feds because Pitt coach intentionally had his team lay down against ND (Let’s have them pursue Coach Fran while they’re at it). And to top it off, Narduzzi is thought to be a POS & previously disrespectful of the Canes, though he finally said something complimentary - which came, if we recall, after we stole a DT recruit from him. Case closed.
